📝 The private equity arm of CI Capital (CICH) is targeting EGP 25 billion in new investments over 2026–2027 as it looks to scale up its portfolio through specialized funds across sectors including industry, renewables, real estate, and tourism, CEO Karim Badr told Asharq. The plan includes launching large funds like an EGP 6 billion renewables vehicle and expanding green infrastructure and property investments. It’s worth noting that the company has seen a solid growth in its stock price since the start of the year, with its share value rising 25%. This brings its gains over the past 12 months to 87%.

👀 Nassef Sawiris increased his stake in Orascom Construction (ORAS) to 43.39% after acquiring an additional 1.03% through NNS City, reinforcing his position as the company continues to post strong growth in new contracts and backlog. The company’s share value has grown 14.8% since the start of 2026. This brings its gains over the past year to 111.7%

⬆️ El Obour Real Estate Investment (OBRI) posted a 136% jump in net profit to EGP 49.3 million in 2025, driven by a surge in revenues that more than doubled to EGP 1.29 billion, its latest financial results showed. The company’s share price has grown 199.8% over the past 12 months.

⬇️ Mansoura Poultry (MPCO) reported a 99% collapse in 2025 net profit to EGP 1.38 million despite revenues rising to EGP 857 million from EGP 755.5 million the year before, pointing to severe margin pressure, according to its latest financial results. The company’s share value has grown 34.7% over the past 12 months.
